The Apta 10 is an FFS packing machine for liquids, which uses a roll-based PE tubular film. The film is unwound by two rubber rollers. Unwinding is monitored and controlled by an encoder so the length of the bag can be determined. Before the film is unwound, one side of the tubular film is opened so the liquid can be inserted. The liquid is dosed via a time-based valve. A sealing beam then closes the bag.
